Dr Hoda Kilani CPCC

Founder and Creative Leader
Dr. Hoda Kilani CPCC is the founder of Right Career Fit (RCF) as well as a YouTube and Podcast host.

Hoda's Approach
Hoda created RCF when she saw a need for a coaching framework with a theoretical approach that is practical for helping you choose your direction. Hoda built on available research and created the Career Development CPR Model and the Discover Your BEAVI
© assessment tool. She believes in the importance of lifelong learning, reflection and career awareness. She leads RCF with the purpose of inspiring a commitment to these values. 

Speaker Experience
Attending and presenting at conferences enrich Hoda's coaching and speaking portfolio. She uses innovative career tools and strategies to increase your career path mindfulness. Having presented in over 100 speaking opportunities means that Hoda is able to convey complex career strategies in an engaging and easy to understand manner.

Individual Coaching Experience
Teaching you to manage your career is Hoda's passion! Together, you start with the basics. She is a Certified Professional Career Coach (CPCC) who successfully built her business from the ground up in 2013 by identifying its brand. Similar to businesses, you need to identify your brand. Hoda’s approach is clear. Using narrative coaching along with various assessment tools including the assessment tool she created Discover Your BEAVI©, she helps you create possible career paths and clarify your unique brand.

  • She is a board member of Westmount Charter School Society and Career Development Association of Alberta (CDAA).
  • She supports the Canadian Career Development Foundation as she validates and reviews content.
  • She is a regular manuscript Reviewer and Editor for Gifted & Talented Journal.  ​
  • She is the Canadian Delegate of the World Council for Gifted and Talented Children (WCGTC).

Education
Hoda's doctorate degree from the University of Calgary in Language and Literacy focused on special needs youths' experiences, including those who are gifted and ESL.

Research Interests
Hoda is interested in research that examines academic or career management experiences with the goal of supporting inclusive teaching and learning by giving voice to young adults and increasing career literacy.
