Hoda is a member of Professional Association of Résumé Writers & Career Coaches (PARW/CC), the Career Development Association of Alberta (CDAA) and the World Council for Gifted and Talented Children (WCGTC).
Giving Back
Hoda gives back by providing many pro bono services.
She is a board member of Westmount Charter School Society and Career Development Association of Alberta(CDAA).
She supports the Canadian Career Development Foundation as she validates and reviews content.
She is a regular manuscript Reviewer and Editor for Gifted & Talented Journal.
She is the Canadian Delegate of the World Council for Gifted and Talented Children (WCGTC).
Research Interests
Hoda is interested in research that examines academic or career management experiences with the goal of supporting inclusive teaching and learning by giving voice to young adults and increasing career literacy.
Education
Hoda's doctorate degree from the University of Calgary in Language and Literacy focused on special needs youths' experiences, including those who are gifted and ESL.
